Dr. Mark Albey, MD

Dr. Mark Albey is a central Arkansas native who enjoys all of the outdoor amenities the state has to offer, including hunting, hiking, and teaching his grandchildren to fish. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He did his residency in Family Medicine at the Area Health Education Center located at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas where he was Chief Resident. He has been practicing in the same privately owned group practice in Central Arkansas for over 20 years. He is board certified in Family Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, the Arkansas Academy of Family Medicine, and the Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Albey takes care of a large patient population with a wide range of health concerns, including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, sleep apnea, and thyroid disorders. He has also treated many patients of various ages, who have low testosterone and/ or erectile dysfunction. He is familiar with what a difference testosterone replacement can make in a patient’s overall well being.

More recently he has treated patients with both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide and witnessed great success not only in weight loss but also other co existing health problems such as diabetes and hypertension. He is excited to now be a part of Renew Vitality in Little Rock, Arkansas and to use his skills in treating these conditions to improve the health and well being of a new group of patients.
