Brandy Shephard, DNP

Dr. Brandy Shephard is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in Tennessee. She started her academic career by attending Loewenberg College of Nursing in Memphis, TN where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Brandy has worked in the hospital setting for over 10 years with a background in Emergency Medicine. The hospital setting revealed the passion and need for primary care providers. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Memphis. She is an active member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practice Nurses (GMAAPN), and Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association (TNNPA). Experienced practice areas are emergency medicine, gastroenterology, cardiology, and primary care.

Dr. Shephard, DNP, FNP-BC has broadened her horizons by becoming a member of Renew Vitality’s nationwide network of providers. She helps men who are experiencing age-related symptoms by developing and implementing tailored testosterone therapy strategies. She also helps patient combat obesity with the weight loss program. Her experience in emergency medicine and primary care enables her to manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease, which can affect older patients’ ability to tolerate hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Brandy’s overall goal is help patients find the best versions of themselves both mentally and physically. This is accomplished by providing individualized, holistic, and patient centered care.
